The Lord said to me, “Look at Me and tell me that you don’t need a leader”.
What is this? Oh yes, you are so right.
What would we do without a leader? We all need a leader. We all need to be led by the Lord. We have no clue what we are doing. We don’t know anything.
When we need leadership, we need structure, we need a path. Who is lighting the way? And who can we ask what to do? Who gives us the guidelines? Everything…
Brothers and sisters, just imagine you are a family. You are a man, you are a woman, you get married, you get a child — and you would let a child do whatever they want. What [would] happen to this child? The question is also, what [would] happen to you when this child is growing up? Think about this—in one moment, now, this is going to be a big tragedy. It’s a chaos. This family would not last long. The wife does what she wants, the man does what he wants. Everything is fine. Children, that kid, yeah, it’s okay. “Oh, we’re going to do this today, good. Tomorrow, no, we can’t do this.” Or, whatever, you know, think about it. It’s non-structural, everything. It’s total anarchy. That’s anarchy. It’s terrible. We do not install leadership when the people receive no leadership — it is destructive.
What would you do without leadership? How many questions we do ask the Lord today? What to buy, what to do—because we want to do His will because we know His will is good and His will keeps us in His guidelines, in His holy guidelines, which is good for us. He knows what is good for us. A leader knows what is good for his people. And a leader, you know, is the best. He wants to put out the best of his people. He wants to celebrate the success of these people’s success, not his own.
He wants that they [will] be successful more than he, ever. That’s what he wants because he wants to share with them. And this wonderful, nice success and this joy, that’s a little part of the Lord Jesus Christ. Only a little part.
So, we are also called, especially our fathers here in this wonderful, nice gathering, to lead your families, lead your wives, because that’s your job, and your children.
But for your children, you have to lead also with your wife. If you don’t do this, it’s going to be a real massacre. It’s going to be anarchy. You’re going to fight all day long for whatever. It’s totally chaos. It will be a chaos. Try it out. If you don’t try it out, it’s really bad. But think about it. Do you really lead? I talk now to the men. Do you really lead? You’re called to be leaders. You’re called to be the Lord Jesus Christ. He leads. He led his flock, and he still leads us. A very good example is his disciples. You know, He kept his king. He protected his disciples—from influences outside, and even from themselves, he protected them. This is what a leader does. He protects his flock. [The] first time, they feel safe. And when they feel safe, they come into a potential. They can do it. They can work. And they can do what they’re called to do.
But they have to feel safe —and that’s why now you know that’s what children need. You’re going to look at what they develop, the gifts they have, and this is what you develop.
If you see your children can do really good drawings. Please do not put an instrument in their hands, because you missed it and you used to play an instrument, a guitar. You just have to — you know, get him the drawings, what he wants to draw, to support the drawing, right? But this is tragic, and this happened, I know it in my own family. It’s so tragic.
If the father is not looking for, you know, it’s, you know, it’s really, I mean, can’t believe it. Leadership is a very, very great man, especially men. If you [do] not lead, you are no man. Your wife wants you to lead. You know, Mother Therese. So, I changed today, my tire. Surely she wants to intervene, you know? I know. She wanted to help me. I don’t want this. I don’t want [her to get] dirty. She did a job, she took care of me, she washed my hands, she took the water. And that’s what I wanted from her. And then I wanted other stuff that she says, wow, stand there and think, what a good man. Right? Man, this is what you want. We are men of God. I mean, you have women of God. Lead them to do what they have to do. And you have women of God. You have to be very, very conscious. When you[do] not know your people, when you [do] not know your folks, you cannot. You have to know the gifts [in] them. And how do you get the gifts? When you talk to them. If they are not communicating, you cannot find out because they [have] not found out in their own way. They [do] not even don’t know the answer. You didn’t know. If you go to the Lord, you don’t even know. Did you know before you started with Jesus that you write wonderful, nice structures? You make your book. You make your record. You make everything good. You make it really beautiful. This is what you do. This is what you need. The Lord called you to this leadership of the House of Christ. You know, suddenly the leader of the head, he saw, oh wow. He knows she knows what to do with the curtains. She knows exactly what to do with the table, with the what….
It was really amazing. And then he found out, you know, that you’re going to do it. You can call me when it’s going to borrow money, that’s it. And you should see him. Suddenly he went there like this. It felt good.
But this is our job. Please, men—especially men. That’s the job. Beautiful wife, she’s made for you. And when she’s a woman of God, she longs to do good for you.
This is her role and that’s what she loves. It’s amazing. No, really. It’s so beautiful. And you know, what your job is? —to protect your woman. Another stop. Very simple. But you have to do it. And you have to give your life for your wife. If you don’t do this, if you’re not ready to do this, forget it. And your family, forget it. Nobody wants to talk about it. It’s obligatory. You know, this is true. But if you don’t have this, if your wife is not your own flesh, forget about it. I especially talk to men now. Get your foreheads up. Put your foreheads up now, and lead. If you don’t know how to lead—which I know already, nobody knows how to lead—go to the Lord Jesus Christ and study him and ask him for help. Study him and then you know what a good leader is. Because he was giving his life for us all. Because we are his bride. Bride. We’re not called grooms, we’re called brides. Because he’s the man. He takes care of his bride. Amen.
