Jesus will always be with you in the Fire

Daniel 3:25
He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of Man”

I was in adoration before the Lord a couple of days ago in worship, when he played the song “ Thank you for the Fire” by Ginny Owens and the song struck my heart so deeply. My walk with the Lord has been full of many trials however these past few months where the most fieriest trials yet however, as I found myself before him in such peace and full of hope I can actually say with my whole heart “ Thank you Lord, for the Fire”. 

As believers we repeat this common phrase often in prayer, conversations, in our worship music “ Lord set me on fire”, “Lord burn in me”, “Lord make me a living sacrafice”…..urm do we really know what that means? lol That is one of the most dangerious prayers and phrases to cry out to the Lord because he will do just that. To be set on fire for the Lord is to go through the fire to be purified, refined, crushed, pressed until all that remains is him burning within you. Many want the fire of God but, are not willing to burn in suffering and trials to obtain that purity and refinement that he uses for our good for his glory. I too cried out to the Lord so many times in worship and in prayer that I wanted to be set on fire for him, that he should burn everything in me that is not of him, that I wanted to be a living sacrafice a sweet aroma to him and he is doing just that so Lord I thank you.

Jesus said if you wish to follow me you must deny yourself pick up your cross and follow me”. The Lord has created designer crosses for each of us which come with designer fires as well or fireary trials. The crosses in our lives he speaks about are any pain, inconvenice, test, or trials from the greatest to the ones we think so insignificant are crosses we get to carry for the Lord for salvation of souls. A simon’s cross, we will all suffer in this world but when you unite your sufferig to Jesus offering all that he is permitting to him then you are denying your (self-love)  carrying your cross and following Jesus. There you will indeed find your faith and the greatest intimacy with Jesus. Some of these cross come in a form of fieary trials a death of a loved one, sickness, betrayl, being slandred with defimation of character, false accusations, demonic attack or oppression, troubled or sick child or family memember, infidelity, sudden loss of income/job, persecution, false imprisonment, injustice, sexual or emotional abuse just to name a very few. These are trials the Lord allows in many of his childrens lives to refine them to purity as they also grow in faith and much virtue.

WHEN YOU TRUST God In the fire you will find HEAT which allows all foriegn fragments and particles to rise to the surface of your heart to be cleaned. You will find what it is you really belive by your reaction and response as the Lord begans to create a Pure heart within you that responds like Christ “Father nevertheless not my will be done yours be done”. In the fire you will find THE MOUTH OF YOUR ENEMIES CLOSED. Just as Daniel found the lions mouths shut you will see the Lords hands of deliverance as you continue to trust him even in the midst of heat all around you. In the fire you will find supernatural PEACE that passes all understanding that will keep your heart and eyes fixed on him alone. There will always be FOUR PEOPLE IN THE FIRE…. You, Father, JESUS and Holy Spirit!! Just as he was with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego he too will be your sole companion in the fire the one to carry you through, protect you and deliver you. In the fire you will have great intimacy with Jesus because he is nearest to those with a brokenheart because when you suffer he suffers too. In the fire you will find THAT HE PLACED WITNESSES TO WATCH YOUR TRIAL UNFOLD TO TESTIFY OF HIS GLORY! Just as he did with Daniel even his enemies were astonished at God’s saving power and were looking for them to be burned by the fire and just as Job’s friends who came rather not to console him but, to admonish him in his trial. However, the Lord used them to witness his deliverance and restoration power in Job’s life.

Daniel 3:26-28

26 Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!”

So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, 27 and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.

28 Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

So don’t you see the Fireary trial you are going through right now is purifying your heart to be conformed to the image of Christ. It is testing your faith so that you will have unmovable confidence in the Lord. It is growing your character so that may be able to obtain the fullness of grace he has for you. It is teaching you patience so you may be fully persuaded in the Lords faithfulness. It is growing you in brothlery love and teaching you not to be moved by the opnions of men. It is strenghting your trust in the Lord so that you will rely soley on him. It is growing you in virtue and sanctifying you so that you may be blamless and spotless on that day lacking nothing. So my friends began to thank the Lord for the Fire, thank him for his immense mercy and grace towards you. Thank him for his faithfulness and amazing love he has bestowed on you to draw you so close to him in this way. Thank him for his goodness, for the amazing testimony he has already written for you that will indeed be for your good and His glory as many souls will be won upon hearing your story .

Thank him for the Fire, for the greater the Fire, the greater the refinement, the greater the faith, the greater the intimacy, the greater the testimony and the greater the LIGHT that will blaze for him for all the world to see!! 

Jesus I thank you for the FIRE!!!

Its Our Anniversary!!

So its our anniversary!, yes the day I finally surrendered completely control to the one who deserves control Jesus! lol It was 3 years ago on January 1, 2014 I remember I was at my little sisters house and I had been toiling with this decision for a couple of weeks now. After receiving a prophetic word from two different people confirming God wanted me to lay down my event business, clothing line and desire to move to NY in order to follow MY dreams instead now to follow HIM. That was a tough and scary decision as I was on the couch I just prayed I believe the most sincere prayer as I told him “that I was scared to let go and give him complete control but I would do it” Immediately after I said that prayer my phone had a notification the bible verse of the day and it was:

Isaiah 41:10
Don’t be afraid for I am with you
Don’t be discouraged for I am your God
I will strengthen you and help you
I will lift you up with my victorious right hand

I remember then running to my sisters room with the phone in the palm of my hand shaking in shock saying ” Omg he answered me, he answered me” with excitement lol
In all honesty I had made a commitment in my heart to give complete control over to Jesus for about a year to see what he could do lol. Well we see who won and who will always win…Oh ye of little faith, that was truly me.

Now 3 years later what can I say about my beloved bridegroom Jesus, he indeed has become my everything. He once said to me that “if I don’t know him and his ways how can I then walk in my assignment and calling”. He has indeed been faithful in showing me my true identity, my purpose and has filled every void and cleaned up every throne in my heart that I had. He not only King of my  heart but of my life, my decisions, my thoughts, and reactions. I didn’t know how lost I was until He found me! That’s what I love about him drawing me into intimacy . I have realized Jesus desires this relationship with all his children. That’s what the cross did for all those who will and do believe in Jesus. It restores back to your true identity as a son and daughter of God. Having fellowship and communion with him daily which is available to anyone who would believe and surrender their whole life that Christ would live through you as his disciple and bride.

You see I was a believer but not a disciple and definitely not a bride. I hadn’t fully surrendered, I had the holy spirit around me but he wasn’t indwelling within me. That’s the beauty in surrender, you give up what wasn’t yours in the first place……your life because Jesus Christ died for all men and in him alone you have life.We have been through so much together it truly feels like a marriage not even kidding lol   Now as his bride and disciple I know what that scripture means to be a submitted wife:

Ephesians 5:22
Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord

Ooooh how I have learned and still learning the true meaning of submission unto the Lord. Its difficult at times for sure because its crucifying your flesh  and truly DIE to yourself completely which is all by Gods grace and his work in us.  He indeed has and is preparing me for marriage…Heeey now! lol I went through my old journals  to look back at the many things I didn’t know and have come to know now walking with the Lord these past 3 years.

What I have learned about being the bride of Christ:

  • Its soooooo rewarding!
  • I was sent by God here on this earth to testify of him and be a witness to the light that’s inside of me…Jesus! John 1
  • He dwells in my heart so I have to keep it pure
  • Obedience, Obedience, Obedience lol oh and Trust, Trust, Trust hehe
  • I am the highlight of his day! (we all are actually !)
  • I have the same grace to walk just like Jesus did on this earth!
  • The fastest way to His heart is through worship, he literally shows up and something supernatural happens!
  • It is difficult, it will cost you everything for the word say  “narrow and difficult is the way that leads to life and few go there in” Matthew 7:14
  • Your life calls for complete abandonment to self-desires, motives, plans, strengths and complete surrender to the Lord
  • This intimacy is available to everyone who desires it….”seek him UNTIL you find him” Jeremiah 29:13
  • Giving up is not an option, to take Jesus hands when things get difficult and allow him to carry me
  • That we all have the ability to actually hear and see Jesus in the spirit! Matthew 5:8
  • Jesus loves to dance, He is so tender, sensitive, funny, and so loving!
  • That my life should always be to raise others up around me than myself
  • The greatest power on earth is LOVE and he has given all his brides a gift of love
  • I have been called to a life of suffering, rejection and death (to self) just like my beloved Christ
  • That I am called to look just like Christ I will be persecuted, accused, made fun of, rejected, scorned, talked about….that’s all normal because that’s when I look most like him
  • He uses the worst situation and people to test my heart in love, patience and charity
  • My Enemies are a gift from him and not enemies at all. He uses them to purify me so I should bless them and be thankful instead
  • The more difficult and dark the situation or person the better because the light in me can shine brighter
  • He has given me charge over the angels of heaven, I can command their assistance in anything….I love the angels! Matthew 28:18
  • I am called to love others to Christ
  • To be humble, to little, to be the least, to be overlooked, to become a beggar for his sake is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven
  • To always gives thanks in everything…..I mean everything

 

So have you been feeling a pull on your heart this year 2017, to finally surrender ALL to the Lord. Not just surrender your Sundays by going to church and maybe even Wednesdays for bible study but no surrender all that you are. Surrender your heart, your life, and dreams completely to the one who is in control of ALL things, to the one who created the universe, to the one who has ALL authority over heaven and earth and most importantly to the one that died for you that you may live…..in him, Jesus. I am telling you surrender it all to him, surrender this year to him and stand back, let go of control, watch and be in awe at what he does in and with your life!

What Type Of Candle Will You Be In 2016?

I was talking to a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago and she stated how happy she was that the Lord brought me into her life because my passion and zeal for the Lord ignited her passion and zeal for the Lord which had got stagnant. I have also had the privilege of seeing this amazing change in her walk as the Lord ignited her desire for intimacy, spiritual revelations and gifts. Seeing her stepping out of faith to do what God ask, opening her mind again to dreams and visions, having a greater compassion for others and a unwavering boldness for the Lord like never before! I have been amazed at what the Lord has truly done and he reminded me that’s what it means to be ” a light of the world” , “a lampstand that gives light to all who are in the house” The Light we carry is not for ourselves not only to be a light to others around us but to ignite a fires in others as well so then WE become a city on hill that cannot be hidden!

Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

The light in us is the holy Spirit which the spirit of the living God dwelling within us. The Holy spirit draws us to the father, testifies of Jesus Christ, changes you, convicts you, gives you spiritual gifts and gives you a hunger for the word of God. As our world gets darker our light gets brighter. The fire, the light of the living God inside of us which causes people to draw to you because they see a difference. They see that  Joy, Peace, love, wisdom and Fire for the Lord  and were called to turn them to Christ! However, so many Christians are comfortable being just being lights setting no one else

THE CANDLE WITHOUT A FLAME:

There are many believers of Jesus Christ but very few followers. You see there is two parts to our salvation. The Lord ask us not only to be hearers of the word but doers as well. You go to church every Sunday or when you can, do a few good deeds, pray when you can , don’t read the bible and think that’s good enough. You live like the world and state your RELIGION is Christianity. To be honest nothing in your life has changed to reflect you are a follower of Christ. Your flame is not lite because you have not surrendered fully to the Holy Spirit, you have not fully surrendered to God. This is what you call lukewarm and the scriptures state

Revelation 3:16
But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!

You do nothing to impact those around you to bring them to Christ because you have no light yourself. You don’t live or are led by the Holy Spirit but by your flesh so therefore you are in darkness (Romans 8:6). You see Christianity is a relationship with Jesus Christ, a faith, a way of life not a religion. When you believe and surrender beginning to read his word (the bible) it changes you because that is what is word (the bible says) and that is exactly what it does because Jesus Christ is the word! ( John 1:1) You began to take him into you and he changes you inside out! If you identify with this candle don’t lose hope for Gods grace is on your life. Repent, tell the Lord you fully surrender to his will in your life. Laying down your dreams, ideas, will, everything and ask him to baptize you with the Holy Spirit. Then began to read his word the bible and watch you become in awe of what he does!

THE CANDLE WITH A BURNT OUT WICK:

This is the Christian who has gotten weary of well doing.

Galatians 6:9
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

They were on fire once but the road, the walk became to difficult so they decided to give up. Began to backslide follow there own ways of doing things and direction as well.  Or the cross you were given became to hard to carry. You unfortunately allowed the woes of this world, the heavy burdens, trials of this world to snuff out your light. Therefore you too are unable to impact those around you. To be honest some can become bitter, mean, resentful Christians as well. Even jealous of those who are on fire, warning them they too shouldn’t get excited warning them the walk with the Lord is hard and secretly hoping they will fall to the same demise. Rather than encouraging and building up. Therefore, they too are unable to impact those around them with the light of Christ. However, if you identify with this candle there is hope for you as well and Gods grace is sufficient! Draw back nearer to him, he has never left you nor will he. He is a worship and praise away from once again igniting your passion for intimacy with him. Know that he loves you right where u are at, knows your situation and has heard your cries. He has not forgotten about you look to him and know that he is still and will continue to be so in looooove with you!! (Romans 8:31-39) He actually learns for you more than you yearn for him!

THE CANDLE WITH A FLAME:

This one is interesting, yes we are called to let our light shine and quite a few Christians have their light shining in these last days which is amazing! However, the Lord had put it on my heart that there are too many Christians who have a lack of love for their neighbor,  strangers,  and the lost. They know that they are saved having the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and are changed. However,  they’re complacent satisfied with their own salvation and that’s good enough but that is not good enough for the Lord. He gives ALL of us a commission. Not just preachers, pastors and evangelist but ALL his children too

Matthew 28:19
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

So we as we continue to ask the Lord to send revival, heal the sick, bless the poor, and to save souls. He looks at us saying I have sent you. You have the spirit of the creator of the living God, the power and authority to do all the works that he did and even greater he expects us to do! You either don’t know how to share your faith or  state you don’t feel  led to touch people, say anything, or bless someone. The Lord said they would know we were a disciples of Christ because of our love for one another to truly love one another! To know that people all around you are perishing for eternity yet you want to leave it to the pastors on Sunday to do that. No, the Lord calls US all to do that and not only to let our light shine but in WORKS (doing) is what would make people glorify the father. ( Matthew 5:16).  If you identify with this candle ask the Lord for wisdom to minister to everyone you meet. To set you a blaze being a sweet aroma to everyone you pass with his love, kindness, compassion, mercy and grace. Most importantly to give you boldness and courage this year to share your faith!

THE TORCH:

This is not just any Christian but the ones set on fire, sat a blaze by passion for the Lord and his word. Their one goal is to become a living sacrifice for the Lord. Not only do that have an intimate relationship with the Lord but they are so passionate about others experiencing a relationship with him as well. They are concerned for their brothers & sisters, their neighbors, the lost with compassion to see them be saved. Their excitement, joy, peace, wisdom & faith in the Lord and his ways set them apart. They are bold  & courageous for the things of the Lord however, walk in compassion, meekness and lowliness in all they do. The fire within them is so consuming with passion and love for the Lord that it lights up every wick (candle) that comes their way. Not only are they a light in a dark world but they are overflowing with the fire of the living which cannot be contained but only spreads to all those that come near it! You see if all Christians become torches then that’s how we become like the old church. Walking in authority and power turning the world upside down as was said about the disciples that came before us

Acts 17:6
“But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too”.

2016 is going to be a turmoil year, as the world around us gets darker its time to set our fire a blaze and began to turn the world upside down with the powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ, The powerful action of love, compassion and kindness towards everyone, and the powerful act of full surrendering to the Lord in every area of your life. As you draw closer to the Lord in intimacy know that light in you is just not for you but for everyone else around you. To set them on fire too by sharing your testimony, your faith and the gospel with everyone. Most importantly tell them, tell everyone that God is crazy in love with them, to repent come out of their sin and that the kingdom of is at hand!

So what are you doing with your light this year?  If you really believe what are doing about it.Go out and set the world on fire for Jesus Christ!

The Year of Standing In The Storm & God’s Grace

The scripture the Lord gave me  January 1st 2015 was Isaiah 43:19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Oh how I was looking forward to 2015 year as taking new ground, promises coming to past and growing even more intimacy with the Lord. A friend of mine had also called me ending of 2014 to prophetically speak into my life as to what the Lord revealed would take place in 2015. He stated that the Holy Spirit was in dwelling in me, that 2015 would be a very uncomfortable year. Then friends would distance themselves from you but I shouldn’t lose heart because God would bring that back. He also stated that the Lord had anointed me and many would come to know him through me. Boy do I tell you now remember those words. This has been one of the most  uncomfortable years for me for sure.  Where do I begin, what do u do when your side swiped with  relentless attacks and you find your self in a middle of storm? Well as the word says when you have done all that you can do, stand….Lets be honest its easier said then done right lol. Upon surrendering my life to the call of God last year it has been eye opening, exciting, amazing and awesome. One of the many righteous prayers I said to the Lord is that ” Jesus I will suffer for you, whatever it looks like, whatever may come I am running after you”. Boy, I have come to know not only does Jesus hold to his word but he will hold you at your words too. So I knew trials would come, in fact my whole life has been full of them however, I thought now that I am walking in the ways of the Lord the trials wouldn’t be as hard  right ..or (maybe out of pride) I wouldn’t  really have as many trials or be phased by them because I live for the Lord now (duntadda -superhero anthem music lol) Unfortunately, I think in the past 4 months I have cried more than I have in my life time, sad I know but true I know have a deeper understanding of

Matthew 7: 13-14 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and DIFFICULT is the way which leads to life and there are few who find it

I was so excited when I finally moved knowing that God called me out, setting me apart for greater intimacy with him right!? I mean I even had my own prayer closet! Yes! of course but I didn’t realize It would be a season of great testing as well. In surrendering to the Lord  in excitement I realize he has given me the gift of dreams and vision. As I sought the Lord and asking him what his will was for me in this season and finally after waiting. He told me it was time to move get my own place and start a fellowship at my house,  youtube channel and a blog about all that he was teaching and sharing with me

DISCOURAGMENT- attack on your faithfulness
LESSON LEARNED-God is not concerned with numbers neither should I

The Lord had spoken to me told me to began a fellowship at my house, a prayer meeting at my job. In excitement I told my HR manager which is a great friend and we began holding meeting at the job. Initially no one was showing up then their would be times of 5 people coming then other weeks of one or two or none. The same with the fellowship at my house. I was so excited to have Christian friendships and fellowship. However it seemed people weren’t coming. One  of the days one person confirmed and i decided  to cancel and the Holy Spirit gave me the scripture “For where two or three are gathered together unto My name, there am I in their midst Matthew 18:20 I soon repented and the Lord reminded me that I always leave the 99 for 1 remember that. On another day no one showed up and the enemy was just throwing all sorts of thoughts and lies my way. I just wanted to give up thinking if I had heard the lord correctly and he spoke to me during worshiping saying “Didn’t you say you wanted me, am I truly enough for you. If no one ever came would you continue being faithful”

SPIRITAL WARFARE-attack on ones faith

He reveals a lot in my dreams and  I was really never taught on spiritual warfare even now its not talked or taught a lot in the churches.  So I began to have a lot of spiritual warfare dreams, fighting witches, demons, attempting to  cast them out of people and not sure who to talk too or what they meant. So the Lord let me to John Paul Jackson stream ministries and I have begun to have great understanding as to what I was seeing and what the Lord was revealing.

I  had a dream where I was so excited to follow the Lord an officer stopped me turning in a demon to mock me as to how I wanted to follow the lord. Immediately upon waking up the Holy Spirit showed me vision of myself walking around my room praying intensely. I was startled and of course got my bible and holy spirit opened it  to Psalm 91 as I began to pray  intensely. The most intense of the attacks started in October where I had a I woke up from another dream just to be held down in a form of “sleep paralysis” (which is another form of demonic oppression) and I heard a wirl whind of voices yelling at me to stop talking to everyone then was released. I immediately drop to my knees in my bedroom and began to pray. The scripture the Holy Spirit gave me was Romans 12:12 Rejoice in Hope, Endure in Suffering and persist in prayer. Boy did he mean that. This attack lasted for 2 months. I began to feel so uneasy in my house like  evil presence was there. I couldn’t sleep there alone if I did sleep there all  . I would pray, anoint the house but would still have restless nights and attacks. Soon I started to believe the lies of the enemy that I had done something wrong, that there was no point in praying . Worse of all I had people remove themselves from me because of the attacks. I was honestly losing hope kept asking the Lord why. Then the Holy Spirit gave me another scripture

1 peter 4:12-1

Suffering for Being a Christian

12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

I finally went to get prayer at my church and upon a lady laying hands she stated to me a harassing spirit had been assigned to me. Not because of what I had done or my weakness but because of my strength and calling on my life. Needless to say I broke down in tears those where the most comforting word I had heard in a while. Then the holy spirit prompted me to fast for 4 days straight and received revelation in a dream of me casting out the spirit of fear from my house and then casting out the strong man! I was gracious for the Lords faithfulness.

Through the intense trials the remaining half of the year relationships broke apart, began to compare myself to others and even began to have jealously, resentment, discouragement and insecurity in my heart. Which exactly what the  enemy wanted me to give up on God, return back to my old ways and lose faith in his promises. But oh for the Grace of GOD which held me, sustained me, and carried me throughout the year to not give up. I have been strengthen and have a deeper trust in JESUS. I now know that our relationship, worship and praise to God is not based on what we feel or what we are going  through but it should be always based  on who he is.  A GOOD GOOD FATHER!
