It is only the Lord who could’ve done this and continues to write this amazing story as I am no longer a bystander but I stand back in awe as His story through me continues to unfold before my eyes. As he led me to leave the world and follow him to NM. He has given me the desire of my heart. HIMSELF!! To officially become his Bride in a deeper walk of faith and commitment as I took my relgious vows and professed my vocation as a Franciscan Sister, Third Order. ( I will do a video about that later on what that entails) I am so humbled to share this journey and wedding ceremony with you all. In worship 2 days ago the Lord played a song from Lecrea ” Tell the World” and the lyrics say ” Ima tell the world ,tell the world I am brand new” So I am! lol A. LOL As Fransician sister my life will be living out the gospel, in intimacy with Jesus and holy life with him. As I have taken life vows of poverty, obedience, chasity (faithfulness to God), substantial prayer, substantial solitude. I pray this will be an invitation for many as I know there will be many more who will come after me. For this narrow road is available to anyone desiring to walk in holiness, truly die to themselves, completely to their past, their flesh and be completely crucified with Christ. To become a new creation in Christ and that is what I have become. The former things have passed away and behold the new has come. No longer Nana but now Mother Mary Elisha given to me by the Lord (mother of souls.) I am so humbled and eternally grateful to the Lord and his tender mercies and graces that got me here. Will You Say Yes?

Yesterday I got to witness first hand how real the spiritual battle for a territory, for a soul and for a life. As a young man whom I got the opportunity to lead into a prayer of salvation immediately after was pursued by an armed robber and shot right before my eyes…….will you say “yes” to what God is calling you to, where He is calling you and yes despite the opposition, your fears and uncomfortably?

Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

I had got a vision a month prior where I was sharing the gospel accross the street with a crowd of young man but I thought that was going to be far off in the near future….I should know by now when Jesus shows me something He desires for me to be obdeint and act on that lol  So two weeks ago I found myself with no car, virus on my computer and still no job having absoultely nothing to do wondering what is going on Lord. Then Jesus spoke to me about my desire for missions and that he needed me to be obedient that accross the street was my mission feild and I do have a job working for Him and beiing about his business. Sharing the Gospel and his love to everyone in that area.. The neighborhood I live in is fairly nice however, I live next to a convenint store an noticed alot of males would linger there and at the carwash.  I noticed from time to time I would get approached if I wanted to buy weed and knew the presence of God was needed there.

However on Wednesday I was feeling discouraged because since evangelizing no one had given their lives to Jesus, but many received prayer. Furthermore, there had been of a lot of unusual opposition. One of owners of the car wash told me to leave his property and stop talking to everyone, another mother cussed her children out for praying with me saying they knew Jesus already, another couple in a car was fist fighting whiles driving passed, like I said unusual but I realize now it was high level warfare. So toward the end of the day I stand at the front of the convenient store asking anyone for prayer. When a young man came up to me and asked if I had a rubber band for a wand of money he had I told him I had something better, Jesus. He looked completely broken with a lot on his mind. He began to state his whole life story of how he had ran after money, drug dealing and had it all and was completely empty. That he was tired,  and he was on the run from a lifestyle he wanted to leave behind. He said he never had a father and his mother always chased after man so never knew love, He is now at a point where he is not afraid to die and he knew that was a bad place.  He proceeded stat he didn’t know How God could love him or forgive him if his own parents left him and he couldn’t forgive himself . I shared Gods love, the Gospel and he broke down in tears giving his life to the Lord right then and there.  He said he felt so relieved and had never cried before like that and wanted to stay in contact, that today he would throw the drugs and his guns away. We exchange info as I told him about connecting him with other believers . So I left headed for my apt but I turned around one last time to wave and say goodbye when a young man came up to him seeing a slight scuffle as the man asked for money… then heard a gunshot. I was dumbfounded the young man who just gave his life to the Lord got shot. the shooter ran off but my new found friend was shot in the leg as I ran to help him.

Soon The ambulance came and so did the cops….They caught the shooter and the young man was rushed to the hospital. Two things could’ve have happen after witnessing this. I could’ve coward in fear thinking its to dangerous to evangelize or too traumatized to continue to reach out to others across the street but Gods grace it way to sufficient for me! lol I knew the enemy was so mad and I may not being seeing the results but God indeed is doing something over there.  I believe that prayer protected that young man from death and what the enemy intended. So at that very moment I knew why God had said that was my mission field, why it was necessary for me to be there, to preserve and not cower in fear and why most importantly why this young man had to give his life to the Lord…the enemy was waiting, but God had and always is ahead of him…. I travailed in tears and in prayer last night for not only this area but for the young man of our generation who the enemy is sifting like wheat left and right. Praying asking the Lord to send more labors to get more “Christians” “ministers” “pastors” out of the church buildings and pulpits into the neighborhood and go OUT into the community to grab our brothers snatch them from the destruction they are headed too. I could’ve done two things after witnessing this cower in fear and ….Jesus answered my prayer.. last night as I went out again today meeting a pastor and a son who were in the process negotiating for space to begin a church!! So I ask you, if you are a christian…will you say YES thats all the Lord is looking for someone who will say YES and Go to your next door neighbor,  across the street, to your job, at the grocery store? As a believer you are a missionary a pilgrim here on this earth passing through called to make Jesus known wherever you go. WILL YOU SAY YES?!

The Simple Gospel Of Love

Many times as believers our lives can be focused seeking the Lord for breakthroughs, the anointing, miracles, blessing, spiritual gifts, promotion, elevation, our calling, our purpose, the 5-12 keys to the kingdom of heaven, mysteries, promotion, marriage,elevation, kingdom principles to live a good life which is not necessarily bad but then the gospel has merely become what you can get upon giving your life to the Lord. Rather than what you have surrendered to become…..become just like Jesus.

Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

 

You see that’s exactly what Jesus did, Jesus was fully man yet he did amazing miracles everywhere he went, He was holy and righteous in all his ways. He died to himself and was completely submitted to his heavenly father in all that he did.  Most importantly he loved like crazy. He loved, the kind, the poor, the unlovable, the wicked, the rejected, the outcast, and the sick. His love was so captivating that polarized so many too him, to follow him and 2000 years later he continuous to draw people to himself. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is love! There are many characteristics to describe the nature of God but only one is the main foundation you see God is not only the source of LOVE but He is LOVE itself and he gave that LOVE to us through his son

John 3:16
For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him will have everlasting life

So God gave that we might become “sons and daughters of the King, citizens of heaven heir to the throne, and brides of Christ that we might GIVE as well. However, the Church has been crying out for revival and a move of God but we keep missing it that it begans with us believers. The revival starts with us individually. When we give our lives to the Lord and filled with the holy spirit you then have Christ living on the inside of you!

John 14:23
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

I think believers of today have forgotten that….I mean let that really sink in, the Kingdom of God is inside of you, yes you!  The Lord himself said it in Matthew 6:10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. So many continue to wait on manifestation but the Kingdom of God is here inside of us all we need to believe that by faith, receive it and become it!  I love what pastor Todd White said in one of his sermons. ” The Lord never ask us to memorize scripture he ask us to become it” Man! So as we receive the LOVE of God and began to deny ourselves our own selfish desires, picking up our cross to follow Jesus we began to grow in virtue.   That means you are able to do ALL things through Christ Jesus, you are able to live a holy  repentant life, forgive and forget, you are able to Love your enemies and Love people right where they are at, you are able to cast out devils, heal the sick,  open blind eyes, set the captives free, prophesy. You began to become just like Jesus! Many times we use the times as Christians we believe a select few are called  to “ministry”  and if your not many of the commissions of God don’t apply to you. However, we are all called to ministry for the definition:

Ministry: the work or vocation of a minister of religion..let me rephrase the work or vocation of a minister of faith since Jesus is not a religion.

So you see were are all called to ministers of the faith of Jesus Christ. This generation has the greatest grace given to be the bride of Christ and the bible tells us that a husband and wife unite and become one flesh Epheisians 5:31. So when the Lord abides in us and we remain in him, dying to our flesh we become one flesh with Christ, isnt that beautiful!  So when people come in contact with us its not us they see or touch but its Jesus. We become the revival,  a dispenser for the Lord to use and pour out of . Becaue he is love we then become a dispenser of  love to those who need love, we become dispenser of grace to those who need to receive it, we become mercy, we become hope for those who are in despair, we become joy for those who are depressed, we become life for those who are dying, we become freedom for those who are in captivity. As we touch the Lord himself touches, as we speak the Lord speaks….we become Jesus walking in the flesh just through us. No longer Emmanuel with us but Emmanuel inside of us! I truly believe that’s how Paul was able to be all things to all man: 1 Corinthians 9:22  To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some….because he became just like Jesus. Some ministers have thought this means to stooping down to the level of the group your trying to witness too thereby becoming just like them but I believe that its all wrong. It means humbling yourself , loving people and becoming what they need….Jesus!  All in the motivation of Love that was freely given so now we freely give being:

Ephesians 5:1-3
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God

 

So its time as Christians we understand when we reeive salvation its not for yourself and its definitely not for what you can get, nor do we even live for the Lord  but salvation is to become just like Jesus and doing all that he did. So dont to settle for a mediocre Christians life focusing on all that you can receive from the Lord but become a giver of all that you have received. Become a sweet aroma of love to everyone you meet, truly believing the Bible that you read. Believing that the Kingdom of God is inside of you waiting to show out! haha Not waiting on the new manifestation or move of God but rise up and start becoming just like Jesus then signs and wonders will follow you as he turn this dying world upside down with his love, power, and hope of the Gospel through you!

“My love for you is never-ending. All powerful and persuasive. Given freely and without cost. Run now into My open arms. Do not be and Esau, exchanging your life for a bowl of pottage.
