Hello brothers and sisters and Heartdwellers family. With the donations we received in the go fund me campaign we now have been able to pay the surveyor to complete the demarcation of the land. However, I found out the first time they attempted, they found a shrine belonging to a local deity there that the villagers worshiped. They told a family member of Father Derrick, who had gone with them to show the boundaries of the land that they couldn’t go any further because it was sacred ground.
So our land was re-markated and the acres with the shrine were given back to the villagers. I kept thinking: this is our land, the one the Lord has given us and we shouldn’t be fearful or intimidated by any deity that cannot at all stand even in the presence of the one and only true living God. I kept thinking of the immense battle we have up ahead of us. The City of God, right next to a witchcraft shrine?.. really??
I began to have a holy indignation for the works of darkness and witchcraft that has blanked this continent and this country for so long holding so many captive with fear and manipulation. I kept thinking of Joshua who didn’t see the giants but saw how big his God was and If He told them to possess the land, he was going to take it and they did.
We also started a novena and we asked Mother Clare for the intention, and she stated lets pray for an end to Juju as I thought: she has been having the same sentiments I’ve been having. Juju is just another form of African witchcraft its call comes from one source Satan and his demons despite what those who practice it use the guise of culture and tradition to make it ok.
I came to Jesus that morning with these thoughts swimming in my mind. Jesus what is on Your heart?
Jesus began,
“I know what is on yours beloved do not be afraid. You doubted and questioned the message given to yesterday, but it was for Me. I am preparing you to take this stance for the land that I have given you and your family to possess for My glory. It is time to take the spoils and territory from the enemy. Far too long in that area the people have lived in fear by worshiping deities, idols, and gods whom they fear but do not love.
“The enemy has enslaved many for too long with lies, manipulation, and deception all under the guise of culture and tradition. I do not want you to yield or bend in anyway concerning this. Others may, but you may not. I have given you all authority over the principalities, over the wicked birds of the air that attempt to take my seeds of life from mans heart over scorpions, snakes and all power of darkness and nothing by no means shall harm you. They rather fear you because you carry My light and My love, that dispels the darkness.”
This reminded me of my recent Lords supper reading I just had. Luke 10:17-20
Jesus continued,
“The City of God community will be a city on a hill burning bright for all to see. Do not hide your light under a bushel because of tradition or fear. You pray beloved and I will do the rest, the novenas is a great opportunity to pray over this intention having the saints backing you up in this battle because that is – what it truly is a spiritual warfare battle for souls in that region and the future souls who will be touched by this work of mercy. I could feel your indignation for evil and witchcraft rising up beloved your very much like your Mother Clare, but do not get caught up in pinpointing souls or praying against a soul who is trapped in witchcraft.
Your bitterness and resent can grow easily when you are able to put a face behind these evil works. Remember you’re not dealing with flesh and blood, but demonic spirits who also want that soul.”
Ephesians 6:12
For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places
And the thought came to my mind: Lord, how do we fight witchcraft?…
Jesus responded to my thought,
“The way to fight witchcraft you ask? Is to pursue godliness and holiness. I destroyed the works of the devil with love. Love to My Fathers will, love to My neighbor and love to My enemies and that is the way I have chosen for My people. The more love you walk in, the more power and authority you will be given.”
And what came to my mind after finishing this message that I wanted to add, or insert right here; was Mother Theresa. She was given a Hindu temple to be used for one of the first infirmaries the missionaries of charities occupied. Watching the movie, at first I thought of the spiritual repercussions and how could a Christian use a temple of another God for their work?
If I can be honest, I didn’t realize how critical I was of her as I watched the movie. One scene where she was asked about other religions, she simply stated if you want to be a Muslim be a good one, if you are Hindu be a good Hindu if you are Christian, be a good Christian I thought: you didn’t tell them Jesus is the only way? That all other roads lead to destruction and death? And immediately I heard the Holy Spirit tell me, “It is not your job to convert but its your job to love”.
I was so embarrassed that God heard all my thoughts against his servant and I am sure she heard them too. And I realized how my zeal could easily get in the way of what Holy Spirit wants to do, by putting people off by throwing the Bible at them, rather than loving them. She did things that were unconventional and would get so much slack if it were to be posted on social media during her day. It even caused an uprising with the Hindu people in the community, that a mob came to threatening to kill her if she didn’t leave because they felt she was desecrated a sacred place, but she didn’t budge. She rather, opened the doors and showed them all the sick Hindu people she was helping. That was the power of love on display how could they fight with that? It disarmed the group and they went on their way.
“Love and power go hand in hand. I can entrust you with more graces, more anointing and more gifts because love is not self-seeking, it’s not proud, it doesn’t boast and its not envious. With power comes all of these temptations to be puffed up which leave the door wide open for the devils to enter, but when you walk in love and humility the devil will have no place. That is why your mission is to call people to holiness. I will bless you and all My Brides especially those in the community with great graces and great power. You will need it to turn the harden hearts of those practicing paganism around.
“Sometimes a showcase of My power is most necessary to be used to bring about the salvation of a soul. Then teach them my ways, My nature, and my character that they may imitate Me in love, meekness, humility and kindness. That is what has been missing here in the church at large in Africa. Many have been given great power because of the greatness of darkness and witchcraft that abound in various regions. They see the powers of darkness all the time and are mystified and intrigued, thinking Satan and his minions have the answers to solve their problems. Many of his servants disguise themselves as an Angels of light and those who are not discerned and foolish, fall for his tricks and enticing words trapping them in covenants, agreements and invitations into their lives.
“I came to set the captives free, and I want them set free but they can’t be set free if they do not know they are bound. Do not worry yourself or fear anything at all. Nothing in this work will come easy expect difficulty at every turn, but also expect tremendous breakthrough, deliverance, provision and manifestations of My power moving through you and many others who are called to help build this work. The battle will be won in prayer, prayer is where your victory will lie and weaken the powers there, by you showing love to your neighbors and praying for their hearts to change, the veil to be removed and the strong hold of fear over these deities to come down. That my love and light of truth can prevail.
“I will do great and mighty works through you and all My Brides called to this community and again do not underestimate the prayers of the children they are so powerful before Me. These little ones will be fearless in the midst of opposition. You will be trained in spiritual warfare in ways you haven’t before as more understanding and revelation is given to you about the powers that be there and in this country. Do not go anywhere I do not lead you, remember you are my Bride first and called to dwell in My heart, you are a lover and not a fighter per say, but a warrior – there is a difference.
“My warrior Bride fights with the sword in the spirit in one hand, the shield of faith in other whilst carrying and proclaiming My banner of love. It is love that will win the battle against darkness and witchcraft. It is love that will turn the hearts of Satan and cause those who are customers of witchcraft and voodoo priests, to let go of the rituals, charms and incantations and come to Me. It is My love through each and every single one of you and as you pray you prepare the ground for that. As you war using your authority to combat these ways of witchcraft, strongholds come down and the enemy is disarmed.
“In this novena, let that be the soul intention for each one. That the works of the kingdom of darkness through witchcraft, voodoo and juju would be destroyed over the people and over the land. There will be relations, but do not fear in all of these things it will rather strengthen you and equip you to be stronger and more enduring. I am with you all, Heaven is with you and so are the Angels and saints the victory is already won. This work and this land was destined to you long ago just as I spoke to my servant Abraham so I have spoken to you. Go and posses the land that I have given to you there I will bless you and make your My name great and multiply you as people, even foreigners, will come from afar to see in the City of God, God rest.”
And that was the end of Jesus’s message.
So family, please be standing with us and praying for us. And praying into the land and this region, for God’s deliverance, the strongholds to come down and the witchcraft there to be thwarted and destroyed. Amen.
