We Are Citizens of Heaven

    

       ~A Message From Jesus

         given to Mother Elizabeth~

Greetings dear YouTube Family. Today the Lord wants to speak to us about being citizens of Heaven, and not of the Earth. 

In Philippians 3:20 we read, “For our citizenship is in Heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,” and also in Hebrews Chapter 13, verse 14 “For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.”  Amen!

Well Family, the Lord has asked John and I to build yet another Refuge when we are finished with His desert refuge.  By the way, that noise in the background is John digging out the basement.  We have recently broken ground here in the desert and started digging out the area where the community house will be built.  Let me tell you, it has been rough, rough going…. a daily uphill battle with the ground conditions being almost bedrock. 

We rented a mini excavator for a couple of weeks, and the humongous rocks have been relentless.  The deeper John digs, the bigger the rocks.  We have been praying non-stop for some relief, for the Lord to sustain John and the equipment he is using, to send helpers and the necessary funds to keep moving forward, and a way for the floor to be level once he is finished with the dig….. which if you could visualize it, looks impossible at this point.

I was thinking about where our room would be in the small, yet simple, community home when Jesus broke into my thoughts and said,

 “Do not get attached, Elisabeth, to this house or any other refuges you and John build for My work.  You are building these community houses and end time refuges for others, as well as to have a place to rest your heads.  This is why I called you both from the mountain to the desert, and I will call you to other locations that I have selected for My people during these turbulent and uncertain times. You are to live completely off-grid and not be dependent on any city or county utilities or services. 

 “I would like all of you to focus your attentions on your Lord, on what is above and awaits you eternally.  Please dear ones lose your attachments to material things.  These are temporary and can easily be taken from you. Think of yourselves as good caretakers of what I have given you and not the owners, without a fixed home here on Earth. How hard it will be for those who trust in earthly riches to enter the Kingdom of God.  When you attach yourself to worldly possessions, they become a god to you. Rid yourselves of the confines of this world’s values and strive towards heavenly pursuits and not earthly ones.  Share what you have with others.

 “Some of you have endeavored to reach the peak in your careers, to invest and pay into your retirement, and collect what you feel are valuable possessions. These are world status symbols as you struggle to hold onto and work to maintain them.  This thinking is wrong, and will not fulfill you or your life’s purpose. This world is not your home.  Change your perspective now by focusing your thoughts and keep your eyes on Heaven and do not make Earth your treasure.”

In Matthew 6:19 we read: “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on Earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.”

Jesus continued,

“You are living in the last days of the Earth’s existence, perilous times are here.  Your eyes, ears and hearts should be on your God, your Creator, your Father in Heaven and what He has given you and all that He has done for you.  When you do that, your reward will be everlasting.  The purpose and fulfillment of your lives here on Earth will be found when your heart begins to live for Me and your goal is to serve your Lord.  Then I will become your provider and you will want for nothing. Your home is with Me and I have prepared a place for you in My Father’s house.”  (that’s found in John 14:2.)

What a wonderful promise! Jesus lives in our hearts and He is in Heaven and has made homes for each of us, so we can live eternally with Him!  I don’t know about you, but Brother John and I can’t wait! 

The Earth is truly not our home, it’s a battlefield where the devil is trying to destroy us, to keep us from knowing God and inviting Jesus into our hearts. We can win souls for Christ because we know that Heaven is our permanent home and Heaven is where our Lord and Savior lives.
