Hey, brothers and sisters and Heartdwellers family. I am excited to share with you what we have been doing so far. This is a follow-up video of what was done in Sierra Leone because of your generous donations and prayers we were able to help three major groups; an orphanage where many children were left at the doorstep of a young lady who takes in all children with disability; another orphanage that has many healthy and able-body children. We were able to provide clothes and shoes for both.
During a joyride with Derrick’s mom to the highest peak of Sierra Lone called Lester’s Peak, we met about seven beggar boys who intrigued me. I felt it was a great opportunity to tell them about the love of Jesus, which I did. They then told me their needs in the community and how many other children needed help. I had one of the children pray over the rest of the boys and, man, was his prayer anointed! He is now called “Pastor Samba”. We were able to come back and provide over 20 kids with backpacks, pencils, pens, and notebooks for school, which they requested. We hope we can help them more by having Sister Therese go there and check on the kids and see their needs.
We were also able to cultivate a relationship with our amputee friends at Lumley in Sierra Leone. They are a small group of 20 amputees. They have 8 men who have wives who are in need of $150 each to begin a small business to help feed their children and take care of their families.
You see, the men stay and live on the streets begging for food while the wives and children stay several miles away in an empty building, receiving only what their husbands make. They see their wives every two weeks. It would be great if anyone felt led to support the wives with one donation or support more than one wife with a one-time donation of $150 so they can start a business to have steady income to provide food and clothing for their children
Father Juniper will be leading his own mission now in Sierra Leone. Sister Therese has been sent there to help him start it. Please keep them in your prayers. For those interested in supporting Father Juniper’s mission in Sierra Leone and coming on board to partner and support them, you can send donations to us, and please notate it as “For Sierra Leone”. Or you can email Father Juniper to get the account information at email@example.com. Again, at firstname.lastname@example.org . I will have his contact information in the description.
God bless you, family. And enjoy what your donations have done !
