Hello, Brothers and Sisters and Heartdwellers Family. May you all receive the hope of great anticipation for what the Lord has in store for us.
In the morning I decided to rest a bit in bed and begin my worship. The Lord played a song about the “Annunciation”, by John Michael Talbot, speaking over me as if I was Blessed Mother with the greeting Arch Angel Gabriel gave her. It immediately led me to have her on my mind all morning.
I then went outside to begin my prayer time and there the enemy was throwing all manner of temptations at my mind. I finally realized wait, “These thoughts are not from me, Satan get out of my head in Jesus’ name!” I was out sitting on a pallet and felt like Jesus who was in the wilderness when Satan tempted him for 40 days and nights. This was very timely since we have just begun Lent and I realized it will be weeks filled with temptations that I would need to recognize and overcome.
When I began my Lord’s Supper I got, “The Annunciation”. Coincidence? I think not. I began to ponder the significance of Holy Spirit playing the song over me this morning and now receiving the readings. I thought to myself, Blessed Mother must be trying to tell me something. What is the significance of the Annunciation today?
Luke 1:26-38 (NIV), To a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” 29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”
34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” 26 In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[a] the Son of God. 36 Even Elizabeth your relative has conceived a son in her old age. She who was called barren is in her sixth month. 37For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38 And Mary said, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it unto me according to thy word.” Then the angel left her.
I pondered these words as they hit me as though it was my first time reading them. Then I felt her presence so strongly with me and knew that she wanted to speak. I could see her on my right-hand side bending down and speaking close into my ear as…
Our Mother of Mercy began,
“My Beloved daughter, I am here. You truly bring us joy with your faith as you make an act of your will to surrender to all the Lord is asking of you. You will persevere valiantly, be not dismayed, My beloved little one. I too rejoice over you and will help you begin writing this book.”
As an aside here, the temptations the devils where hitting me with had to do with fortifying my desire for marriage with Derrick. The struggles haven’t gone away as thoughts and suggestions of taking the easy road of being single and just married to Jesus seemed so appealing—until I realized the voices were come from the devil. After rejecting his advances I thought to myself hmm, I wonder if there was a saint who was married who wrote about her struggles? Man, that would be such a wonderful book to read and get Rhemas from since I know of a few souls who are struggling in their marriage now. I then said out loud, “St. Rita, why didn’t you write a book?” as I laughed. She is an amazing saint and went through a really difficult marriage all for the sake of her husband’s salvation. And the Lord used her to bring peace to her whole city, amongst other things. But she suffered tremendously.
So upon searching my mind for any saints who wrote on marriage I realized I didn’t know any. Then I heard Holy Spirit say, “You do it.” I thought, really, Lord, now? As he gave me the inspiration to begin to write down all the lessons He has taught me with each trial with Derrick—and there have been a lot. The Lord gave me a vision in the beginning, in the middle of one of our many storms, of us having a ministry called “Marriage for the Purpose of Eternity”. I saw a book that I had written telling our story and the wisdom the Lord gave me to get through it. I thought, for sure this would begin not only after we got married, but a couple of years later when our marriage was better established. But I should know the Lord never works according to my time frame. So here, Our Mother of Mercy continues to encourage me to begin.
A book Mother, another one?
“Yes, this is the beginning of what you were given a while ago. “Marriage for the Purpose of Eternity”. This will be a blessing to so many. So continue to write your journal entries of all that you experience, the lessons the Lord teaches of your own wretchedness and His immense mercy and grace, and how to truly love like Him. You see now what a gift Derrick is?”
Um, I don’t feel it…
(Here she laughed so hard, that I began to laugh)
“Of course, Beloved, self-love, self-love—always gets in the way, but you will see it, experience it, and feel it soon. In all of these things preserver and surrender all to the Lord. We will write together, in all that you do moving forward. You are My servant, My daughter, and I am here to serve you, to help you fulfill the will of God. A wonderful instrument of His will, will you be to so many others, as you help Me to raise up more instruments of the will of God who will bring His glory on this earth and will bring much honor to Me in these last days. It is My time, and another annunciation is coming upon the earth—and is already here, to announce the coming of Our Lord and to announce My love, My role, My Immaculate Conception, and My return as Queen over heaven and earth. Not just to the chosen ones in the Church, but to the whole world. I am the forerunner to prepare the way for the Second Coming of Our lord. Hidden I was, but now will soon be revealed in all the hearts of men and you and so many others will help me to do that.“
At this time I began to receive some interference and thought to stop writing.
Our Mother of Mercy, knowing my doubts, said,
“Continue to write, My beloved daughter. This season of Lent is preparation for all the brides of Christ to be prepared to receive a heavenly visitation, a heavenly announcement. It will be filled with instructions, wisdom, and guidance for their unique purpose. You too must be ready, My little one. All of you—you brides are highly favored by the Lord because you have yielded to His will in your lives. Although you have many trials, sufferings and you fall many times with various weakness and faults you determine yourself to get up again and continue pursuing the Lord, never leaving his side and that has obtained for you great favor. The instructions soon to come will not be easy and will call for a level of surrender from you all.
“What you will be given to do will seem so impossible to your human reasoning, but just as I submitted to the Lord that if he asked me something that seemed unimaginable that He would do it, for nothing is impossible for the Lord. I want your response to be ‘Yes’, My beloved brides. For great joy and strength lies in your ‘Yes’ and what the Lord is going to do in and through you. I have told you, though the world gets dark, this is the year of great favor for His brides. Do not discount My words, great blessings are in store for each of you. Do not discount this visitation as a familiar spirit, or your own mind, how that grieves Him deeply. Please be open, be very open—and as you give yourself entirely to Him these next 40 days, overcoming and resisting every temptation to give up, to give in to self-love—rather walk in a greater degree of love with, His grace, thinking not of yourself, but your neighbor. You can rest assured He will be faithful to this promise.
“So I come today to announce to you, Beloved brides, an outpouring of grace, blessings, anointing, and great favor is coming. The Holy Spirit will ignite a flame within each of you. Those who are willing to empty themselves this Lent season will be filled with His Spirit to overflow, burning with a zeal of love of God, love of neighbor, and love for His glory. You will be given the greatest of supernatural gifts— raising the dead, the gift of miracles, healing, and walking in signs and wonders— not because of what you do, but because He loves you and the world is so desperate in need of His glory manifested on the earth at this time. Things you have struggled to do will come with ease as graces will pour down upon you like rain as greater anointing will be given you for the gifts you already have been cultivating.”
As an aside, one of my readings I took was from St. Francis’ book, “The Omnibus”, And I opened it to how his intercession raised the dead of many different souls, at different times. One story was of a young boy who wanted to follow his mother to church. She wouldn’t allow him to go, so running after her, he fell out of a window and died. The mother ran back in sorrow and travailing in tears. The Friars close by heard her and came running. One of the friars fell on the boy and invoked the intercession of St. Francis to raise the young boy from the dead and immediately he woke up. There were several different stories like that which brought tears to my eyes, in awe at Gods goodness and the desire to see this happen frequently in our day. Amazing!
Our Mother of Mercy was now jumping. She was filled with such excitement! I had never seen her that way before.
“Although the next 40 days will be a time of great temptation and purification for all His brides, it will lead to the greatest outpouring of His favor once the Lent season is done. This is the announcement today, highly favored brides, they will say of you, God is with that one. So hold on, preserver, and open your heart more than ever to Jesus. And when your visitation comes, you will receive your heavenly instructions and your mission. Don’t question but bend your mind to the yoke of faith and respond as I did, ‘be it done according to your will, for I am your handmaiden Lord’. And remember, nothing is impossible with God!
“Hope much in His great love for you and for mankind. On the eve of My Annunciation, I longed deeply with sighs and travailing tears for the coming of the Messiah. I desired with My whole being for the relief and redemption of My people not knowing that I would be the chosen instrument. What great mercy and what Goodness the Lord bestowed upon Me. Who can search His unfathomable love towards His creature? Oh, I could go on and on, My beloved ones. He has heard your tears, your sighs, and travailing prayers for His coming to see the liberation of mankind, to see the relief of the suffering and have all men love him as you do, My brides.
And He has sent Me to answer your cry. He is calling you, He will use you, and will equip you to be His instrument of liberation, relief, and love upon this earth. Now is the time. Oh, how overjoyed and humbled I am to bring you this announcement. Do you not say, There are still four months, and then comes the harvest. No, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. (John 4:35)
“You have prayed, you have tarried, and you have endured. Please be expectant—be very expectant for what the Lord is about to do in and through you.
“Each of you will be given a sign upon your Heavenly visitation to confirm the instructions you will be given. At the end of Lent, it will come. Be open, be simple-hearted, and humbly receive. Ask Me to prepare you for this, during these days of Lent. Ask Me for the grace to hear, to see, to receive, and have faith to believe when your Annunciation comes. I am your Mother of Mercy; I give you now My joy, My hope, and My faith for what is ahead.”
That was the end of Our Mother of Mercy’s message.
Wow, I don’t know about you, but I am so excited for what the Lord has in store for us!
God bless you, family, until the next message.
