Where do I even start, He has ravished my heart, captured my thoughts, my body & my mind. There is a longing so deep within me that only He can satisfy. No, no man, absolutely nothing on this earth compares to Him. He truly completes me in every way. I am absolutely nothing with out Him and everything in Him. I never knew a love like this, cant even say I knew it existed but, to forsake all that my heart desires to have Him and his heart. Why there is no greater treasure than in heaven or on earth. He is truly my God, Father, Friend & Lover in the most purest way you can think possible. That’s what makes this LOVE even more beautiful. So many see God is a distant deity so unpersonable, lacking in emotions besides knowing him for blessings or judgment. However, that is the farthest thing from the truth. I was one of them, I never knew the Lord would and could speak to me. I thought it was a gift for a few select but, when I finally surrendered my whole life to him and he spoke to me just one word chattered every lie & wall I had built up my whole life in the Christian “religion”. The Lord yearns for a “relationship” with all his children to come know his “person”(personality, image, likeness) through Jesus Christ his son, who was once fully man dealt with all the emotions we go through, died for our sins & rose on the third day. Through him and ONLY him may we come to have an intimate relationship with God. You see God has always pursued us and created us for relationship with him…..can you believe that the Creator of the Universe creating us just to have fellowship, friendship & relationship with him because he has feelings and desires too. How he looooongs for that with all of us! Especially in our generation, we get to be married to the Lamb, Jesus Christ. We are the bride that he speaks of all through out scripture and in revelation.
Revelation 19 :7-9
Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”
You can be as close to God as you want, you can go as deep as you want to go because God is eternal and his love for us no one can measure the depth or height that means his love is infinite….you can just keep going deeper, deeper, and deeper . The more deeper you go the more of him you want, like the sweetest honey you wont be able to get enough its amazing!
James 4:8
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you
I started my journey in intimacy by asking the Lord to know his heart. Then he began to show me his heart in the form of burdens during worship and just having a deep love for everyone I met. Soon I began to telling him how I wanted to get lost in his heart ooh, no actually I wanted to live in it and he said “Welcome home”! Haha when he spoke those words I could’ve melted. I love it when my Love speaks to me like that, just one word does it every time. That’s where we were created from the heart of God, each of us fit a unique specific mold in his heart that only we can fit perfectly like a fingerprint.
Here in my journal entry on 01/12/2016 I had the most beautiful vision of Jesus and I getting married. I had a beautiful white dress, laced train that was attached to my shoulder and a beautiful crystal crown. I was walking down the isle and I saw him, my love, my King dressed in a black tuxedo but, with no jacket. He had a white collar shirt with a black bow tow with groomsmen surrounding him. He was ecstatic, almost jumping up with joy trying to contain it with his hands crossed and clasped in front of him. I saw his beautiful wavy hair and a dimple on his right cheek as his smile captivated me and brought me to smile even more….as I said my vows to him This is the one thing I truly seek to live in your heart all the days of my life! Will you have my as your bride, stubborn, strong willed, funny and crazy passionate about you? Yes, I have temptation everywhere in the world trying to get my attention and sometimes I look off for just a moment but, one look of your gaze God, nothing on earth compares. I say I do to you as my groom. I can’t wait to see you. To kiss your hands, feet and run my fingers through your silky wooly curls. To hear your heart beat as I lay on your chest and we dance the night away in the galaxy among the stars. But, oh how you shine the brightest. In your almond eyes I see all the galaxies combined, the universe in a twinkle gazing at me, your beloved, your dove, your bride. I love you with a fire I cant explain. I am in Love with you Lord!!
So we have a grace in this generation none in history have had before. We get to know God even more intimately as our husbands for we are the Bride of Christ!
Isaiah 54:5
Indeed, your husband is your Maker; the LORD of Heaven’s Armies is his name! He is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, the God of all the earth.
So will you allow God to become Lord of your life, King of your heart, & Lover of your soul?
